💡A reframing experiment💡

Attended a poorly organized networking event in Manhattan last night. We were about to meet entrepreneurs and see some pitches, but the place was messy and not conversation-friendly at all.

Should I be mad? Or shall I try to apply one of these coaching exercises with reframing?

Reframing it was.

I said to myself - great! Now I don’t have to talk to 100 people and can talk to only a few, and go deeper this time.

So it went:

Ariel Jolo shared how things are changing in Argentina and how challenging it is to organize in-person events these days. He’s working on several events all across Latin America and after seeing his passion I recommend you to sponsor some of them.

Spoke to Jacob Millburn and his team from Boneforger. I was really impressed by their vision to save costs and avoid unnecessary procedures while healing bone fractures. Even more surprising was to see how aligned the team was. I'm planning to dive deeper into their tech soon!

Spoke to Shubh P and his MBA, Accenture, and Google journey. This dude is great for hire (you’ll be lucky to have him), but I think he should partner up with Pance Docimo and build a digital marketing empire together. They have complementary skills, experience, and passion. They also look great next to each other, but IDK if they need any more ideas from me today :)

Finally, had a lovely chat with Bhupendra Singh Kunwar (Sanskrit and Hindu meaning of King of the earth, king of kings WOW). He inspired me with his approach to product development. Not only do they help with software development, but also with UX, UI, and the entire positioning as a business. I don’t see it too often, so probably you should consider partnering with them.

I made Bhupendra laugh when shared my ‘properly-Indian-spicey-vindaloo-with-no-rice-adventure’. 🤣 Hopefully will visit him when I’m in Mumbai or around.

As I was slowly crawling back home under the summer heat (and running under the rain later), I was thinking about 2 things:

1) Bhupendra said that they consider it comfortable weather when it’s 45C (113 Fahrenheit) in Mumbai. Just wow 😯

2) Reframing helps to completely change the experience if you accept the fact that reframing does work and if you have an alternative scenario to build your reframing around 🙂
